BALA coffee chain's own app: ordering, cashback and the iiko POS in one system
A chain of five bakery-cafés in Almaty was losing guests in the till queue, kept the menu in two places and could not tell a regular from a passer-by. It needed its own branded system — from the app to the kitchen order screen — connected to the POS rather than yet another POS.

Questions
BAL in brief
Who built the product, what it does and how to order something similar.
Who built BAL?
BAL was designed and built by 105, a Kazakhstan IT company ("105kz" LLP, Almaty, Astana Hub resident) for the project owner.
What does BAL do?
A coffee chain's own app: ordering, cashback and the iiko POS in one system. Key features: A guest app for iPhone and Android: pick-up, table ordering via QR, custom cakes; one-tap payment straight from the cart; menu, stop lists and orders sync with the iiko POS, branch load every 90 seconds; loyalty: rule-based cashback, 4 levels, “every 5th coffee”, promo codes, referrals.
Can we order a similar system for our company?
Yes. 105 builds apps for coffee chains and restaurants, booking systems, loyalty programmes and AI sales assistants around a specific business: a 1–2 week problem review, a clickable prototype in 2–4 weeks, then iterative development. Source code and documentation stay with the customer. Contact: info@105.kz, +7 (771) 803-44-47.

More in this direction
Envy
Envy is a management platform for photo, video and podcast studios by the 105 team: online booking requests with availability checks, a calendar for rooms, equipment and staff, CRM with loyalty and gift certificates, finance and payroll, a café POS, equipment tracking and cleaning checklists. An AI manager sells in WhatsApp and issues payment invoices right in the chat; Instagram Direct is built and awaits Meta approval. Each studio gets its own installation — this is how Sham Studio is launching on it.

IsraBot
IsraBot is an AI sales and support manager for WhatsApp that is deployed on the customer's own server. It answers from a knowledge base with hybrid search, understands voice notes and receipt photos, replies by voice, runs reminders, follow-ups and broadcasts outside quiet hours and issues payment invoices right in the chat. A reliable delivery queue with retries, operator takeover, a 9-step setup wizard and a live catalogue from ERP; one instance serves several branches or brands. Instagram Direct is enabled once Meta approves the app.

Sham Studio
Sham Studio is a photo and video studio in Almaty launching on the Envy platform: a separate installation of the system was set up in two days. Guests book rooms, packages, team services, equipment rental and drinks on the booking page, while the studio runs bookings, finance and payroll, a café with a kitchen screen, stock, CRM with gift certificates and Meta ad analytics. An AI manager answers in WhatsApp, and analytics show how many sales the AI closed and how many the managers did. The studio's brand identity and rules are still in progress.

Digital games shop ERP
ERP, CRM and a storefront for a PlayStation digital games shop that replaced running the business in Google Sheets. One purchased account is split into slots of different types, and the system tracks cost and profit for every slot and account; the storefront holds a slot for 30 minutes when an order is placed. The installer workspace reveals access details only after re-login, with a watermark and an audit record, and credentials are encrypted. An eight-stage pipeline, finance in four currencies, three WhatsApp connections with automations and a catalogue feed for the IsraBot AI bot.

“Melting discount” loyalty
A café loyalty prototype we built for a marketing agency in 2025. A guest scans the table QR, registers with a WhatsApp bot and gets 10% off; the discount melts by 1% for every missed day down to a 3% minimum, and a next-day visit restores the maximum. The cashier gets a message about the guest's arrival and discount, the bot reminds those who have been away for more than three days, and a weekly draw picks three winners — the more often a guest comes, the better the odds. Two versions: on n8n with amoCRM and on FastAPI with an admin panel.
- QR → WhatsApp bot
- 10% → 3% discount
- Weekly draw
